A man from Connecticut made national headlines after he tried to surf in his pickup truck in Florida. 49 year old Jason Brzuszkiewiczv of Bridgeport was arrested Tuesday by Volusia County Sheriff’s Deputies after he drove onto a closed beach in New Smyrna Beach, and then drove right out into the ocean. The sheriff’s office shared video of it on X that has now gone viral. Brzuszkiewicz was charged for failing to pay the access fee to bring his vehicle to the beach and was taken to the jail, with bond set at $200. His vehicle was fished out of the water and towed away.
