1 Man Stabbed – 2 Men Jailed – Alligator Removed From NY Home

You can’t make this up… In Pawling, New York police now say one man was stabbed during an altercation last Saturday afternoon and two others are now charged with attempted murder… oh, and a live alligator was found in the basement of the house where it all happened. 43 year old Giuseppe Vassallo of Pawling was arrested and is now facing felony charges including attempted murder, assault with intent to cause serious physical injury with a weapon, and criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use. 27 year old John Sorell, also of Pawling, was arrested on felony charges including attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon or loaded firearm. Investigators say Vassallo, Sorell, and the 42 year old victim, whose name has not been released, were involved in a dispute over tools. The victim was taken to Danbury Hospital. There has been no update on his condition. A live four-foot-long alligator was removed from the residence. Sorell and Vassallo were locked up in the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
