Water Conservation Measures Stepped Up In Danbury

Danbury officials are urging residents to stop watering their lawns and gardens due to high water demand caused by the recent hot weather. The city posted on Facebook asking residential water customers to voluntarily halt irrigation, while all commercial customers and residential complexes are required to stop using irrigation systems immediately. The goal is to reduce stress on the water system. Residents are also encouraged to fix leaks, postpone planting, and avoid washing vehicles.
