Danbury Mayor Roberto Alves announced that the Office of Economic Development will now be a dedicated role in the Mayor’s office. Farley Santos, currently the Community Relations and Constituent Services Advisor, will become the Economic Development and Community Relations Advisor starting Monday, July 1. Santos has served in his current role since December and has a 15-year history at the Savings Bank of Danbury. He also served on the Danbury City Council and Board of Education. Mayor Alves said the move aims to enhance communication and collaboration within the city, providing businesses with direct access to essential resources.
